  • Events - Admins are now able to bulk upload registrants to an event, as well as automatically mark those registrants as attended! From the Registered Students tab of a regular or career fair event, select Bulk Add Registrants. In the Add Registrants slideout that appears, paste the email addresses of your attendees list, select if you would like to mark those registrants as attended, and then select Upload. 
  • Standard Reports (MBA CSEA) - All students in a graduation year are now subject to the same Reported Date cutoff, using the latest graduation term's graduation date for that reporting year (e.g. 4 months after the latest graduation date in a reporting year for the Full Time MBA CSEA report).


Fixed

  • Events (Time Slot) - When a student registers for a time slot style event, the "location" displayed on their personal calendar will now reflect the specific Room location on their selected time slot/schedule, rather than the general location associated to the event. The location displayed on the calendar sync event, the registration confirmation email, as well as the student My Calendar page are affected by this update.
  • 12twenty Job Listings - Resolved an issue where the student group eligibility selected on certain 12twenty job listings was not consistently applied for student users.
  • Outcomes - The "Email Student" functionality on the outcome approval page now directs users to the selected student's profile with an email dialogue window open in a new tab.
  • Calendar Sync - For users whose calendar sync connection is interrupted and must reauthorize, the system will now send our standard "please reauthorize" email notification with increased urgency. If an issue is identified with your calendar sync connection, you can now expect a notification to arrive within about an hour.

  • Custom Reports - Resolved an issue that caused the Available Hours column on the Appointment Advisor Activity report to show negative values for some advisors.

  • Outcomes (Law) - The Post Grad Reported Outcome filter, available on the Student Directory and Custom Student Reports, now allows users to search within a Survey Period! Select the 'At Graduation' or '10 Month' survey period to narrow the scope of your search to the survey period you are currently working within. Select 'All' to continue using the filter to search across any student outcomes.

  • Events - Resolved an issue that prevented admin users from updating the virtual meeting URL for events with a large number of registered students.

  • Resume Approval - Student may now submit resumes for review as Word doc files (.doc or .docx format)! Admins can review, request updates, or reject Word doc resumes. Note that resumes must be converted to PDF format before they can be approved.
  • OCI - Admins are now able to notify an individual student of their time slot before they have released the schedule to all students. To notify an individual student, use the ellipses icon next to their time slot to select the Notify Interview Time option.
  • Site Settings - A dedicated picklist tab has been added to the General / General Configurations site setting page, where general picklists such as Note Type and Career Center Users can now be found.


Fixed

  • Standard Reports (MBA CSEA) - Resolved an issue with Table 2.B of the Full-Time MBA CSEA Report where some students were being incorrectly included in multiple categories.
  • Outcome Upload Tool - The tool now returns a friendly error when non-existent employer values are included in the upload file.
  • Site Settings - Resolved an issue that caused an updated site logo, school logo, or background image to not immediately display on the platform after upload. Newly uploaded logos and images are now reflected with a refresh of the page.

  • Schedule Templates - A new 'Schedule Templates' site settings page is now available for admins! From this page, admins can create new schedule templates, edit template names/descriptions, and delete existing templates. Schedule templates can be used for building OCI schedules, time-slot style event schedules, and (coming soon!) career fair schedules.
  • OCI Applicant Summary Export - The following new columns have been added to the Applicant Summary export found in the OCI Management portal: Interviewer Name, Interviewer Email, and Interview Room. The existing Interview Start and End columns have also been replaced with the new columns Interview Date (which will reflect the date of the interview) and Interview Time (which will show the interview slot time as a range, including time zone). This will allow you to have even more insights into the OCI Applicant and Interview data and will improve the ease of importing this data into other systems like Flo Recruit.

  • 12twenty Reports - The "% of Class" column on the 12twenty "Student Outcomes" report has been renamed to "% of Students". The "% of Students" column calculation will now reflect all of the selected filters to provide more accurate data.
  • Interview Questions - Resolved an issue that caused some users to experience latency in the load time of the Interview Database research tool.
  • Attributes - Resolved an issue that prevented admin users managing attributes from viewing the "outcome associations" (e.g. Post Grad/Accepted Job) of custom attributes via site settings.

  • Experiential Learning - A summary of the relevant experience has been added to the top of all custom forms! The summary information is visible to students as well as experience supervisors filling out forms, and includes the following: Employer Name, Student Name, Experiential Learning Type, Academic Term, and Start Date.
  • Email Analytics - A "Bounce Rate" tile has been added to the email analytics detail page for emails sent to multiple recipients. The tile displays the overall bounce rate of the email, as well as the number of individual bounces. 
  • Job Postings - Employer users now have the ability to deactivate their job postings! This functionality was previously only available for admin users. When a job posting is set to inactive status, it is no longer visible to student/alumni users.

  • Notes - When viewing a note from an employer profile's Activities tab, the Owner of the note is now displayed in place of the Creator.
  • Email Activity - Resolved an issue that prevented the Date filter on the Email Activity page from being properly applied for some users.

  • Job Postings - The "Type of Job" picklist on the job posting form is now customizable for admins in site settings!   • Email Activity - A new Email Activity page is now available for school admins! Email Activity allows admins to view all outbound emails sent from their platform, as well as comprehensive analytics (delivery status, opens, & click rates) for each email.   • Ad-hoc Resume Books - Admins are now able to quickly create a resume book from the Student Directory! After applying your filters, use the more actions icon to select Download Resume Book.   • Activity Filters - Coming soon! Activity-based filters on the Student & Contact Directories will allow users to filter based on various platform activities of students and employers. Activities that can be filtered on include booked appointments, hosting an event, having a resume uploaded, and more!

  • Outcomes - A limit on salary figures has been added to the outcome survey to help avoid extreme outliers in reporting. Salaries now cannot exceed nine digits (i.e. must be less than 1 billion).

Approval Status & Approval Status ID are now returned properties on GET requests for the companies and contacts endpoints. As such, this update will not affect any existing API connections.

  • Analytics - The performance of the view/click analytics for job postings and events has been improved. To access view and click metrics for a job posting or event, select the new "Analytics" option at the top of the page.
  • Filters - The order of available filters displayed throughout the platform has been updated. Relevant and frequently used filters will now be shown first (e.g. student attribute filters will be shown first on the Student Directory; job posting attribute filters will be listed first when creating a Custom Job Posting Report).
  • API - OCI Interviewer information will now be returned when querying an applicable job posting via the Job Posting endpoint. The property will be returned as a collection and includes the contact ID of the interviewer as well as the IsVisibletoStudents value. Here's an example of the new returned "Interviewers" property:

  • Employers & Contacts- The approvals page for pending employers and pending contacts has a brand new look! Improved functionality includes the ability to bulk approve/reject pending items, a new "Source" column that provides crucial context, a "User" and "User Type" column that tells you who added each pending item, and the ability to filter by Source.
    • Note that the updated approvals page can now be accessed via the Notifications option on the left hand navigation panel, where all pending action items are listed. Select 'Contacts' to navigate to your pending contacts list, and select 'Employers' to navigate to your pending employers list.
    • To merge or reject approved contacts/employers: Navigate to the Contact or Employer Directory, select a record, and use the action menu on the contact or employer profile to Merge or Reject.

We've made a new standard attribute available for students called "Clubs & Organizations."   • OCI (OCI Period Rules) - A new OCI period rule has been created that can automatically promote an alternate into an open time slot, as opposed to just receiving an email that a slot has opened up. The new OCI period rule, "Automatically add promoted alternates to the schedule if a slot is available," must be enabled in order for this new feature to work. If you already have an active OCI round that you would like to enable this feature for, you will need to edit the OCI period and re-add it to your OCI round. Additionally, here are a few notes on this new feature:
    • The "Auto Accept Interviews" setting must be enabled for the associated OCI round in order for this rule to apply
    • Candidates will only be promoted to an open interview slot if another candidate withdraws. This behavior will not occur if an admin withdraws a candidate.
    • The "Interview Scheduled" email will be sent to the promoted candidate
  • Research Tools (Salary Database) - Graduation years with no data no longer show in the results!

      • During event creation, when a user selects "Event Format = Virtual," the "Location" field is now defaulted to the text "Virtual" (only if the field is empty). This field is a text field and can be edited.
      • The "Event Format" and "Location" fields have been moved up the form, below the "Event Name" and "Event Type" fields.
      • A notification message will appear below the "Event Format" field indicating that a virtual meeting URL can be added on the next page.

      • The "Location" field will contain the virtual meeting URL, if available, otherwise it will show the text specified in the "Location field.

  • Employer Profile Sync Request Page - While this piece of the employer profile project took a little longer than expected, we hope that you appreciate the multiple select capability and new "toast" notification messages that appear upon approval. The Employer Profile Sync Request page allows you to review employer profiles that have been updated, and approve the auto sync function. For example, if you have "12Twenty" as an employer on your site instance, and an employee from 12Twenty updates the profile, a request will be added to the Employer Profile Sync Request page to approve or deny the auto sync feature, which syncs updates the employer makes to their profile going forward. This approval only needs to be done once per employer, and will not appear each time an employer makes an edit. Please Note: Reviewing the employer profile by selecting the employers name in the "12Twenty Network Employer" column beforeapproving it is strongly recommended. If desired, you can disable auto sync for an employer by visiting their profile, and selecting the "Auto Sync" option in the "Action" menu.
    • Pro Tip - If you see the same employer more than once on the page, this most likely means that you have duplicates of the employer in your system. You can merge the employer before or after approving profile auto sync without losing any information.
  • Data Uploads (Employers) - The employer upload and update tool is now available for all site instances, e.g., those with ODA only.
  • Attribute Configuration Tool - The "Star" rating attribute type can now be used as a parent attribute. Time to find out why someone is giving an experience 3 stars or less ;)

    • 12Twenty Network-Wide Candidate Search - Interested in getting your students in front of more qualified employers? 12Twenty Candidate Search module on the employer portal allows employers to search for candidates across multiple schools in a single place, using all of the same incredible search and filter technology available to you today. All employer inquiries are approved by an admin, so an employer will never be able to get in touch with your students or alumni unless you approve their request first. Additionally, students and alumni can opt in and out of the listings via account settings. 
    • Job Fairs - The ability to create more than one "Job Fair" event type is now available. To do so, simply edit the "Event Type" picklist to add additional "Job Fair" event types.
    • Job Fairs (Employer Registrations)- The platform now supports the ability to create different employer registration forms per job fair event type. This will allow you to tailor employer registration questions per job fair "type." For example, your "Engineering Job Fairs" employer registration can show certain questions, while the "University-Wide Job Fairs employer registration can show different questions. To configure this, simply add the job fair event types that you would like to have on the site (see previous item above for instructions), and then, associate employer registration attributes to the job fair event type.
    • Events- Admins and Employers can now specify whether or not they would like registrants to register via an external method, in addition to the site, via the new "Additional Registration Method" section on the event form. Additionally, when asked to register via an external method, the registrant will check off a box confirming they have followed the instructions, in order to limit registrants clicking through the registration process rapidly and ignoring the instructions. Please note that this feature is available for both regular event types and job fairs only.

    • OCI (Schedules) - Previously, reserving a slot only prevented a student from selecting a time slot.     • Student Groups - "Internal Only" student groups are now available, which allow you to designate which groups are visible to employers, or not. Please note that a student group can either be visible under the students name or internal only, they cannot be both. We thought of the following use cases... can you think of any others?
      • Create different cohorts of student groups that you do not necessarily need visible to the employer
      • Hide student groups you want to keep around for historical purposes
      • A solution for "invite only" events - Create a student group called "Invite Only," set the student group as "Internal Only" so employers cannot view it, and then create an event with the newly created student group. Students and alumni will not be able to see the event, and you can registrants to the event as they are requested. This was possible before, but the student group had to be visible to employers.
    • OCI (Schedules) - The ability to add, edit and delete breaks is now available. Going forward when adding a time slot, you will now see an option to designate it as a break, or not.
    • Email Address Verification For Students & Alumni - If you do not currently use SSO and would like students or alumni to verify that they are able to receive email at the email address specified in the system, please contact the 12Twenty Support Team.
    • Contacts - The ability to merge a contact is now available on the contact detail page under the "Actions" menu
    • API (Application Documents) - The ability to update a resume's "Approval Status" is now available on the application documents endpoint
    • 12Twenty GPS -> 12Twenty Job Listings - We have graduated out of the "12Twenty GPS" era and have henceforth updated the name to "12Twenty Job Listings." You will see this updated on the OCI and Job Listings page and the "Notifications" side menu navigation item. We also updated the "location" icon to a custom 12Twenty logo!

    • Employer Profile - The all new employer profile is here! For all of the details, please refer to the following 12Twenty Academy article. As noted in the article, employers can begin updating their profiles right away, however requests from employers to sync their profile will begin to appear on platform later this month.
    • 12Twenty IntelliMatch For Employer Names - Managing employer names just became a lot easier thanks to 12Twenty's all-new IntelliMatch smart merging protocol. Any new employer name that is added to the system will first go through the IntelliMatch system, automatically matching against existing company names based on a proprietary set of criteria. In the coming weeks we will also be adding multiple select and the "source" of the employer name (and contact), so stay tuned for even more improvements to this very important feature.
    • Email Verification For Employer Users- Employers now verify that they can receive email at the address specified upon signing up via a verification code. This verification process also applies when an employer updates their email address, so you will no longer have to guess whether or not an employers email address is valid!
    • Events - When an employer requests an event, the "Employer" name field now automatically populates
    • Appointments - The color of the "attendance" icon has been updated in order to better distinguish between each status

    • Custom Reports (Appointments) - Marking a career center user as "Is appointment coach = no" now no longer removes that employer user from the custom reports. The user will remain within the custom appointment reports regardless of their appointment coach status, so long as they have data within the specified filters.

    • 12Twenty Passport - Added a white border around the QR code that appears in email notifications in order to allow QR code scanners to scan phones when the student is using "dark mode."
    • Attributes (Visibility) - Attribute visibility criteria for students now behave as an "AND" statement instead of an "OR" statement. For example, if you create a custom attribute and set it to be visible to students with "Degree Level = Bachelors" and "Major/Academic Program = Business," the student will need to meet both criteria ("AND") instead of just one ("OR").
    • Student/Alumni Homepage (Text Update) - Updated the "Upcoming" tile to "My Calendar," as well as the text that appears if no events have been booked "You have no upcoming calendar events," in order to better indicate that it is the student/alumni users calendar as opposed to the career centers.
    • Resume Books - The platform now only shows the “Please allow my fellow students to view my resume" attribute if the resume book setting of  "Are students able to download and view approved resume applicants once it is published and archived?" = Yes

    • Custom Reports (Outcomes) - By (very) popular demand, the custom outcome reports ("Outcome" and "Outcome By Attribute") now support reporting across job phases and program types. Want to get a list of all hires from a company, regardless of program or job phase? How about looking up all of the hires in a specific location? All of this, and more, can now be done. In order to do this, we got rid of the "top level" program and job phase options, and have added them as filters. All of your existing reports have been migrated to the new setup as well, so you will see your previously selected "Job Phase" and "Program" selections as filters going forward.
    • Student & Alumni Directory - A major upgrade has been made to the way filters work on the Student & Alumni Directory. Going forward, the "Job Phase" and "Offer Status" will act as "top level" filters, which will result in more accurate search results. Previously, if you searched for someone that had an internship at 12Twenty (e.g., Employer = 12Twenty & Job Phase = Internship), the filters would acted as an "OR," so if an individual had an accepted job at 12Twenty within the "Before School" job phase (and not an internship), they would show in the results. Going forward, the "Job Phase" and "Offer Status" filters are "respected" first, and any additional filters are layered on top of the query, so the same search (Employer = 12Twenty & Job Phase = Internship) will only provide results for students or alumni that have specifically had an internship at 12Twenty, and exclude anyone who, for example, accepted a job "Post Graduation" or "Before School," and did not have an internship with 12Twenty.

    • Appointments (Adviser Activity Report) - Resolved an issue that prevented "single" appointment from appearing in the search results. Please note that going forward, to isolate appointments from a single adviser you will need to add both the "Appointment - Block General" and the "Appointment - General" versions of the "Career Adviser" filter in order to only get results from a single adviser. We also now exclude career advisors who have no data for the queried time period instead of showing them within a blank row (Note: If you don't know what this is referring to, good! The report will just look as you would expect it to going forward.).

    • Events (Notifications) - The "Event Type" substitution tag has been made available to the "Event Approved" email template that is sent to employers. This tag will not be automatically added to your template, so if you would like employers to know which event type they were just approved for, make sure to add it into your "Event Approved" email template that is sent to employers.
    • Start/End Times - Due to popular demand, and following suit with other calendaring systems like Google Calendar, start and end times now appear in 15 minute increments on Events, Job Postings, Resume Books, etc. The exception to this is appointments, which still respects the site setting for "Default appointment time interval (minutes)."
    • Outcomes - The "title" of an outcome form has been simplified to just show the name of the outcome being added, as opposed to the previous text of "Please tell us why you are not seeking employment" or "What did you do?" .... bleh.

    • Data Upload Tools - Big news for data uploads! All data upload tools (Students, and the newly introduced Employer, Contacts and Notes upload tools) can now be found within the "Data Uploads" section of "Site Management" (previously "Site Settings"). Additionally, we simplified the headers of the data upload templates to just require the display name, so they will look a lot cleaner and "normal."
      • Data Upload Tool (Employers) - You can now add new or update existing employer profile records via a CSV upload. The employer template will contain all of your employer profile attributes, including custom fields. Unique identifier is the employer name.
      • Data Upload Tool (Contacts) - You can now add new or update existing contact records via a CSV upload. The contact template will contain all of your contact profile attributes, including custom fields. Unique identifier is the contacts "email address."
      • Data Upload Tool (Notes) - Student, employer and contact notes can now be uploaded using the "Notes" template. Make sure to specify the "type" of note and the unique identifier.     • Candidate Search - Career center users can now view all students and alumni regardless of the exclusion settings via the new "Job Phase" picklist option denoted as "--". This will be the default value upon loading the page as a career center user. To engage the exclusion settings, simply select a desired "Job Phase." 
      • Coincidentally, this resolves an issue that would make it appear as if the number of resumes pending approval under "Notifications" does not match the number of results on the ensuing page after clicking on the notification item. After selecting the "Resumes" pending approval action item, the Candidate Search page will load with the "Job Phase" picklist option "--" selected, which contains no exclusion settings.

    • Events (Time Slot Events) - Resolved an issue that showed students/alumni a different time on the event schedule vs. the time listed on the actual event itself. For example, if the event ran from 3pm - 6pm EST, and a schedule was created to span 3pm - 6pm EST as well, the schedule would show in UTC time instead of the site instance time zone, making it appear as if the time on the schedule was incorrect, which it was, but was just incorrectly configured.

    • Resume Books - Added the "Load More" option to the resume book list page. The absence of this button prevented the user from viewing all available resume books.
    • Events (Swap) - Resolved a few issues with event swap:
      • If a swap was successfully completed, the "Upcoming" tile on the student homepage would not update to the new time
      • If a swap was requested, and the requestee cancelled their registration or switches over to a new slot, a swap error would occur. In this case, the swap is cancelled and the requestor is notified.
      • A user who requests a swap for a time slot that has already been requested to swap now receives the correct message that a swap is already pending for this slot.

  • New Features/Improvements
    • Outcomes  - The "Submit" button now locks to prevent duplicate outcomes from being submitted
    • OCI (OCI Management) - Within the "OCI Management" page, the admin can now click on the number next to "Awaiting finalized employer interview decisions" in order to see the list of employers who have not yet confirmed their interview decisions.
    • OCI (Schedule Management) - Before this update, in order to move a scheduled applicant to an open slot, the admin would need to unassign the applicant, and then add them to the open slot. This can now be done in a single action thanks to the addition of scheduled applicants appearing in the "Add Existing Applicant" modal. The next time you need to move a scheduled student to an open slot, simply click on the "Ellipse" icon next to the open slot, select "Add Existing Applicant," and select the scheduled applicant you would like to have moved to the open slot.
    • OCI (Notifications, Alternates) - A new email notification has been created specifically for when an alternate is promoted to interview. This allows you to more specifically target the messaging to alternates, as opposed to the previous notification that simply notified them that they had accepted an interview. The name of the notification is "Alternate Promoted - Action Required," and it will be triggered when your OCI Round is configured to have students automatically accept interviews, and an alternate is promoted from the alternate list to the extended interview/interview accepted status.

    • OCI (Notifications) - Resolved an issue that prevented admins from notifying students with multiple interviews for the same OCI (i.e., student has applied to multiple job listings linked to a single OCI registration).

    • 12Twenty GPS - Career center users can now set the Industry, Function (Employer Type and Practice Area for law) and Type of Job for 12Twenty GPS job listings! This will allow 12Twenty GPS jobs to be included in the search results when the aforementioned fields are used as filters. To set these new values, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and select the "Edit" option under the new "Additional Details" section.
      • Also included is a filter for "12TwentyGPS Network Jobs" which is now available on the "All" tab of the OCI and Job Listings page.
    • Application Materials/Application Documents - Students and Alumni can now add one or more "URLs" to their application materials, for example, a link to their personal website, art portfolio, etc. Employers can also now request or require a URL as an application material when creating a job listing. Please note that the link to the URL used to apply is available when Additional Documents icon is selected on Applicants tab of job posting. Additionally, URLs are not included in application packets.
    • General Performance Improvements - Can you feel it? We sure hope so, because A) we have put a lot of time an effort to improving site performance and B) Google Analytics is reporting a 25%+ improvement in average page load time year-over-year (comparing this September to last, our busiest time of year), so hopefully the improvements are noticed and Google Analytics is correct!

    • Swap for Events  - Students can now "swap" time slots with one another for "Slot Style Event" types, just like they can today for On-Campus Interviews. There are a few steps that need to be taken in order for swap to be enabled completely:
      • Site Settings > Events > "General" tab > "Event Booking Settings"
        • Setting #1 - "Swap Event Slot Time Request Expiration (Hours)" - Specify the amount of time that swap requests will automatically expire if no action is taken (typically 24-48 hours)
        • Setting #2 - "Set number of hours before the start of an event where students can no longer swap and pending swap requests are canceled" - Specify the amount of time until the event when students will no longer be able to swap.
      • Optional - Review the 6 New Notification Messages for Event Swap via Site Settings > Events > "Notifications" tab
    • Post Event Follow Up Notification - Are you interested in collecting feedback from students and/or alumni after events, just like you can today for advising appointments? Using the "Event Follow Up" notification, you can now specify the number of hours after an event when the email notification will be automatically sent. Many of our customers add a link to Google Surveys, Qualtrix or another comparable survey tool to collect feedback. There are a few steps that need to be taken in order for swap to be enabled completely:
      • Site Settings > Events > "Notifications" tab > "To enable the "Event Follow Up" email notification, specify the number of hours after an event when the follow up email should be sent."
        • Specify the number of hours after an event when the "Event Follow Up" notification will be sent to registrants
      • Site Settings > Events > "Notifications" tab > "Event Follow Up" email notification

    • Student/Alumni Directory  - Do you prefer the "List" view on the Student & Alumni Directory? You are in luck! Going forward, selecting the "tile" or "list" view will now persist across sessions, just like the column view selection does today.
    • Events (Event Contact Information) - Event contact information is now visible to students and alumni, making it easier than ever to get in touch with the right contact per event.     • Student/Alumni Dashboard  - The all-new student/alumni dashboard has arrived, right in time to gear up for the fall! The beautiful "tile" style layout has been design for both desktop and mobile users, and offers a host of information upon logging in. Each tile will show or hide based on the users permissions and module availability.
      • "Upcoming" Tile - Shows a chronological "agenda" view of all upcoming advising appointments, events and interviews, with easy to understand timelines (e.g., 1 day, 1 week, 2 weeks)
      • Recommended Jobs - Using a all-new proprietary matching algorithm based on a host of data points unique to each student, 12Twenty now recommends job listings directly on the dashboard. A link to quickly update preferences (e.g., Industry, Function, etc. for Business and University Wide career centers, Employment Type and Practice Area for Law programs) is also available so the student can easily keep their recommendations current.
      • Recommended Events - Using the same matching algorithm, events are recommended directly on the dashboard with the same information as is shown on the event list page.
      • Announcements - Any announcement added via the "Homepage" site settings section appears in the announcement tile
      • Jobs and Job Offers/Outcomes - Your students can now quickly report their experience faster than ever thanks to the new outcomes tile that dynamically makes surveys available based on your survey settings.
    • Admin Dashboard - Feeling a little left out after all of the student/alumni dashboard excitement? We get it, and already have plans to add additional tiles for you in the future. In the meantime, the admin dashboard has been updated to be mobile responsive with the site background image for a truly custom feel. PLEASE NOTE: It is important to update any bookmarks/internal links to your site's URL without any paths, for example, bookmark without a path, e.g. 'https://university.admin.12twenty.com' instead of 'https://university.admin.12twenty.com/dashboard'
    • "Homepage" Site Settings Section - Homepage announcements have been moved to the new "Homepage" site settings section under "General Configuration." All future homepage configuration settings will live in this site settings section.

    • All-New Student & Alumni Directory  - The "Student Directory" has been renamed "Students & Alumni," with an all-new "card view," filtering capability and sort. You can still jump back to the detailed list view by selecting the "list" icon that appears to the right of the number of results. 
      • Tired of always seeing the same students and alumni (we're looking at you, "Jeffrey Aaron" and "AAA Test") at the top of the list? Well, worry no more... you can now sort the list of students and alumni by "Recently Updated" which will sort the list by those who have most recently reported an outcome.
      • The card view shows a student/alumni's most recent job, whether it be what they did before school, during their summer internship or after graduation. The cards are responsive to the screens' width, so if you only see 3 across, make the screen a little wider and it will automatically transition to 4 across. Viewing the directory on mobile? The cards will collapse down to a horizontal business card style for easy viewing.
      • You can now also filter by select outcome attributes relating to accepted jobs, such as employer, industry, function, etc. You can now filter for all students that have worked at a certain employer or industry, and email them right from the directory! Please note that "Outcome" filters currently work as an "OR," so if you search for all students/alumni with "Employer = 12Twenty" and "Job Phase = Internship," it will return results for those who have either reported a job with "Employer = 12Twenty" OR "Job Phase = Internship." We recognize that outcome filters should be treated with an "AND" instead, and are working towards this in the near future.
    • Custom Reports (Outcomes by Attribute) - Added the "U.S. State" attribute option
    • Custom Reports (Outcomes by Attribute) - Months now display in chronological order

    • New UI!  - The new user interface has finally arrived. After announcing it at 12Twenty Live last December and all of the months leading up to this moment, your 12Twenty platform now looks better than ever, with full mobile support. Please note that we will be releasing the updated Student Directory & dashboard next Friday, as we couldn't resist adding a few more features before the release.
      • Mobile First - The majority of the experience will now be optimized for mobile. Login, dashboard, job listings (including applying), events (including registering), directory pages, and yes, the outcome form!
      • Student Dashboard (Arriving 8/16) - For CSM customers, students will now be directed to the new dashboard experience, which will show them upcoming appointments, events and interviews, along with recommended job listings and events based on their preferences. And of course, the dashboard is made for mobile.
      • New Look & Feel - The entire site will have a new look and feel. Examples of such pages are the Job Listing Detail Page, Event Detail Page, etc.
      • New Left Side Navigation - All navigation elements will live on the left side, including site settings, notifications, etc. The left side navigation will also have an updated look and feel, including a new logo option which is discussed further below.
      • Full Vertical Height - Vertical real estate is limited on computer screens because they are wider than they are taller. Therefore, we are removing the footer and header so that the entire vertical height of the screen can be used to interact with the page.
        • Where will the information in the footer go? The information in the footer will be added to the "?" help icon, which will now live on the left side navigation.
        • Where will the icons, like Site Settings and the Notifications, go? These icons will be moved to the left side navigation
      • 1-Click Saved Search Notifications - Creating saved search notifications will now be easier than ever thanks to the new "1-click" saved search notification bar that will appear "affixed" to the bottom of the job listings and events list pages. Students and Career Center Users will be able to create a saved search notification in a single click and be notified daily of new updates.
      • Notification Messages Update on List Pages - Notification Messages on list pages only, such as those located on the OCI & Job Listing or Event list pages will now appear via a hover over "i" icon directly to the right of the page title.
      • Updated Student Directory  (Arriving 8/16) - The Student Directory will now be known as the "Students & Alumni" page, and will feature a new "card" style view, along with improved filtering functionality.
      • Updated Employer Directory - The Employer Directory columns of information have been streamlined to include the employers' industry (or employment type for law) and number of employees below the employer name (known as "the clump"), along with the total number of hires between post graduation and internship job phases, and the number of students that have targeted the employer. Employer logos will also show on the list page as well.
      • Updated Contact Directory - The Contact Directory columns of information have also been streamlined to include more information within the contact "clump," and the additional columns of contact information such as email address have been removed. Contact photos will also show on the list page as well.
      • Profile Photos for Career Center Users - Career center users will now be able to set their profile image within their account settings. This image will appear for students and alumni when booking advising appointments, as well as on the new student dashboard.
      • Email Notifications - The design of the email templates has been updated with a sleeker, more modern look that looks perfect on mobile
    • OCI - Regular job listings can now be linked to OCIs from the same employer. No conversion necessary!
    • Events (Job Fairs, "Employer" Tab) -  Students will now be able to find employers easier than ever thanks to the addition of Filters 3.0 on the "Employers" tab of job fair event types. The new filtering supports all standard and custom attributes on the employer registration.

    • Standard Reports (MBA CSEA) - Specialty Masters - The Specialty Masters MBA CSEA report has been released! You will see this report under the "Standard Reports" site settings section if your site instance has a "Full-Time Masters" program. Please note that the report is not yet certified by the MBA CSEA, however the report is currently being audited and we will notify you once the audit is complete. You can use the report in the mean time to confirm you existing data for the class of 2019. Please make sure that attributes such as "Is Full Time" and "Are you working at least 20 hours per week?" (which only shows when "Is Full Time" = No) are completed in the outcome, as these determine if a student is categorized in the new "Full Time" and "Short Term" categories in the report.
    • Student Directory - "Target Employer" & "Targeted Date" Filter - You can now filter students in the Student Directory by "Target Employer" and "Targeted Date" in order to see which students are targeting which employers, and also layer on the targeted date if you are looking for students who have targeted the employer recently. Even better, you can include the "Post Grad Reported Outcome" filter to find students who have not yet accepted a job offer yet!

    • Custom Reports - Target Employer Report - With the "Target Employer" feature being so popular, we are very excited to announce that you can now report on "Target Employer" data platform wide, using a variety of different filters.     • Work Authorization - The detailed work authorization field can now be disabled if you only wish to use the consolidated work authorization option. This is an important update for schools that do not wish to select the specific type of work authorization a student/alumni user has, and only wants to select whether or not they have permanent or non-permanent work authorization. To make this update, go to Site Settings > General (under "General Configuration") and disable the "Work Authorization Status" attribute, also known as "Work Authorization (Detailed)." Going forward, only the "Consolidated Work Authorization" field will show on the 'Background' tab of the student profile.
    • Misc - Renamed "Who Can View & Apply" to "Eligibility" across all modules- OCI/Job Listings, Events, Advising Appointments and Resume Books

      • This update allows employers to select up to 3 event dates when requesting the event. The dates they can select will respect the settings (See - "Employer Event Date Availability")

      • Each of the dates will respect the settings, and the 2nd and 3rd preferred date fields can be made required, if desired. The "Preferred Time" drop down is a pick list that you can configure, but will come with the following options out of the box - Morning, Afternoon and Night.
      • On the admin side, the event request will come through as it normally does, with the new employer date preferences visible on the upper right of the form. The admin will then fill out the actual date of the event.

After approval, this made it appear that the contact was not present in the contact directory, when in fact the contact was only visible to the owner.
    • Contacts (Manage Libraries) - Resolved an issue that prevented the admin from approving a pending contact that shares an email address/name with a deleted contact record. The error message specified "Contact with this name exists." The merge function now only looks for approved contacts.

    • Experiential Learning (Approval) 

      • Supervisor Approval

        • Added the ability for a supervisor to approve an experience as an initial or final approver. The supervisor can approve, reject or ask for more information.

        • Added an initial and final approval policy (rich text) to which the supervisor must agree to before approving the experience, in addition to an e-signature. The e-signature will appear on the "approvals" tab of an experience.

      • Sequential Approval

        • Added the ability for initial and final approval steps to be sequential, for up to 5 approval groups. For example, on initial approval, the approval can first go to approver #1, then only after the approver approves the experience, approver #2 will receive an email notification letting them know that it is their turn to approve the experience. An approval "group" does not need to only be a single person, as multiple approvers can be designated in a single approval group. For example. approver #1 can be Sally and Steve, then approver #2 can be the supervisor, and then approver #3 can be Cindy and Frank.

    • Notes - The entire note text is now visible instead of just the snippet. Users no longer have to select the pencil icon to view the entire note.

    • Outcome Form - Chrome autofill has been disabled on the outcome form. This interfered with the auto completes that are displayed on the site, e.g., "Employer" name.

    • Student Upload Tool - Upgraded the student upload tool framework to work more reliably when uploading a large number of students. Also limited the number of records that can be uploaded in a single upload to 5,000.

    • Post Grad/Internship Reported Outcome Column (Rumor Jobs Only) - This issue appeared to be an edge case but actually turned out to be more common that initially thought. The issue was that students with rumor jobs were listed as "Unreported" for the Post Grad/Internship Reported Outcome column on the Student Directory, despite having a rumor outcome. Site instances that have the setting to include rumor jobs in the reports expect rumor jobs to be considered when the column is calculated. The cause related to rumor jobs not being visible to students. Outcome status is re-calculated after any outcome change, so when the student made a change to any of their outcomes, the statuses were re-calculated without taking the rumor jobs into account. This has been resolved.

    • Application Packets - Resolved an issue that could result in documents being out of order if two or more students with the same last name were included in the packet.

    • API (Calendar Batch Events) - Improved performance of the batch calendar events API endpoint, which is used to add calendar events to the students' "My Interview Availability" calendar. No functional changes, just performance improvements.

    • Events - Added the ability to cancel an event. To cancel an event, go to the "Action" menu of an event and select "Cancel." Some additional notes on this new feature:

      • An event must be in one of the following states: Registration Closed, Registration Not Open, Registration Not Required, Registration Open

      • The user will then be prompted with a confirmation modal, informing them that calendar objects will be automatically removed if calendar sync is enabled for students. An automatic email notification is not sent when a cancellation occurs. To emails to students, go to the "Registered Students" tab an email all or some of the registrants.
      • For job fair event types, all employer registrations must be cancelled before the event can be cancelled.
      • A new Event Status filter, "Cancelled," is also available to track cancelled events
    • Students - Added support for śpêçìãl characters on first, middle and last name, specifically those specified in the Unicode Latin-1 Supplement for Uppercase and Lowercase characters.

    • Outcomes - Resolved an issue that could result in a students salary as showing as "Unpaid" even though the student declined to report compensation. If base salary, other compensation and guaranteed bonus are either decline to state or 0, the compensation will now show as "--"
    • Student (Background) - Resolved an issue that prevented the Consolidated Work Authorization value from being nullified when an admin would clear out an existing Detailed Work Authorization value (sets the field to "Please select a value"). The Consolidated Work Authorization value now correctly nulls out as well.

  • Candidate Search - Separate exclusion settings by job phase (Post Graduation & Internship) are now available. To update these settings please visit Site Settings > Candidate Search.

  • Application Documents (Students)- When a student applies to a job or registers for an event that requires one or more application documents, the platform will now automatically populate the students primary resume or most recently uploaded cover letter, transcript, etc. This will help reduce the number of duplicate application documents in the system.

  • Standard Reports (MBA CSEA, Full-Time MBA) - The ability to see the list of students represented in each table on the MBA CSEA report is now available. 

    • To use this new feature, navigate to the MBA CSEA table and select "Export Raw Data." The export will provide you with a list of applicable students, along with their categorization.


    • Each table's export will contain different data based on the table you are viewing. For example, Table 1.A shows the student's status and work authorization, whereas Table 4.C shows the students industry, salary and work authorization.

  • Standard Reports (MBA CSEA, Full-Time MBA) - Made a variety of updates to the MBA CSEA report (Full-Time MBA) in accordance with version 6 of the standards

    • Tables 4.B - 4.L now support the ability to export the raw data associated with the table. This allows you to see which students are behind the numbers in the report. Support for this function on the remainder of the tables will be added in the coming weeks.

    • Table 1.A - Removed "PT" and "Totals" columns

  • Events (Job Fairs) - Created a new notification ("Job Fair Registration Pending Approval") to the career center contact of a job fair event type when an employer registers. If a career center contact is not specified for the job fair, no email is sent.

  • Events - Auto Promote Setting, Notifications and Additional Updates
    • Added a new attribute under "Enable Waitlist" on the event create form for admins called "Auto-Promote Waitlisted Registrants"
      • When enabled, waitlisted registrants will automatically be promoted to an open slot when another student un-registers. If auto-promote is disabled, an email will be sent to the career center contact notifying them that the event has an opening.
      • Please Note - This field has been set to "Yes" by default to match existing functionality
    • If auto promote is disabled, a yellow badge will appear next to the "Waitlist" title on the registered students tab, "Auto Promote Disabled." If auto promote is enabled, a green badge will appear, "Auto Promote Enabled"
    • We have standardized the behavior when a career center user adds capacity to an event. Going forward, when adding a new time slot, schedule or increasing the general capacity of an event, students will no longer be automatically promoted.

    • If the student has reported a "Still Seeking Employment" outcome in the past, 12Twenty will now present the student with the question "Are you still seeking employment" on their "Jobs and Job Offers" tab the next time they login.
